First, it’s important to understand how consignment works in general. A consignment sale is one where the owner of the item (you) remains the owner until the firearm is sold to a third party. What that means is that you bring your firearm to our shop and we make an agreement that we will sell it on your behalf since we have access to more people interested in purchasing firearms than you do. When we sell the firearm to a third party, you will relinquish ownership and receive payment. We can help you price the firearms for consignment. We typically use a number of references to find a current day market price.

• Consignment Fees - Since we will be doing work to bring your firearm to a new owner, we receive a portion of the sale price. This consignment fee is not paid until the firearm is sold. There will be no upfront costs to firearm consignment. However, consignment fees are 10% of the final sale price. We also offer to sell your firearm on Gunbroker for an additional 10% fee. 

• Firearm Promotion - In order to sell well, it’s important to understand how your firearm(s) will be promoted. We take several photos and get a full, detailed description of the firearm to provide to potential buyers. This can increase the likelihood that buyers will come in to see your item. We list your firearm(s) on a few different outlets. Your firearm will be listed on our website OKCguns.com, Usedguns.com, and Armslist. Your firearm will be blasted to a massive audience, as well as being available to our shop with high foot traffic.

• We are a licensed dealer and using us to sell your firearm gives you ease of mind that a Federal Background check will be performed on any and all potential buyers. The firearm will be put into our firearm log showing that you have transferred ownership to a new owner taking any liability away from you. All items we hold on Consignment are covered by our insurance. 

• You are welcome to redeem your Consignment(s) at any time. Under Federal Law, you will be required to complete a 4473 on the firearm(s) you are redeeming. We will only charge a $10 processing fee for each firearm you are redeeming.

We do offer to buy Estates and Private Collections. We can also offer Consignments on large Estates and Private Collections,

We can schedule a time to take a look at your Estate / Collection at your place, or schedule a time to bring it to our shop. We are very competitive and always more than fair with our offers. At the very least we suggest at least let us make you an offer so you can shop it around and not get taken advantage of.
